Sorry! I just wanted to take a moment to apologize to everyone. This was all my fault. You see, I foolishly put my winter coats away last weekend. Yup, you can blame this crazy weather on me. Again, my apologies.Â
As many of our U.S. readers remembered this week, that all-important last frost date is all-important for a reason. While I haven’t planted anything yet that isn’t pre-last-frost-date approved; I still found myself checking my plants nervously over the past few days.

Were you among the folks who looked out your window to see snow?Â

I found myself moving my Garden Tower under cover because of marble-sized hail early in the week and then covering it at night because of snow later in the week.

As the temperatures dropped, it became obvious just how used to the warmer weather I’ve become already.Â

I’ve been bundled in sweaters and wool socks all week.Â
Â
Let’s hope maybe, possibly, with any luck; the warm weather is here to stay now. And for heaven’s sake, don’t anyone else put their winter gear away!

Perhaps we need a new gardening rule – don’t put your winter coats away until the corn is up to your knees.Â
