We need to talk about companion planting, friends.

As a gardener, I hate wasting my time. There is so much anecdotal gardening advice out there. It can be hard to know what advice to follow and what is silly nonsense. Most of the bad advice is harmless. It's not going to hurt your plants. 

But I’m busy, especially in the summer, and I don’t want to waste my time on practices that aren’t going to work or have noticeable benefits. 

So I get frustrated when I see advice that I know has been debunked being regurgitated by social media influencers simply to get likes and clicks. 

I do my absolute best to make sure we bring you information that’s proven to work and update that advice accordingly if new information comes to light. 

With that in mind, I want to talk about tomatoes and companion planting. There is definitely some old advice that needs to go on the compost heap!
