Hi there, Rural Sprout readers,

Our family is doing Thanksgiving together this weekend, as my daughter and son-in-law will be spending the holiday with his family. I was out picking up a few last-minute items to make a pie with and noticed that there are poinsettias in all the grocery stores now.

These beautiful plants are simple to take care of and can last all through the holidays if you know what to do.

But the biggest complaint I hear from readers this time of year is that their poinsettia, which they just brought home, is starting to drop leaves already. So, here you go, these are the most common reasons why a poinsettia will start losing leaves.
