It's What's Up Wednesday!

With the lengthening days, it’s hard not to turn your attention to what’s happening outside. I find myself wondering about the soil as the growing season approaches. And not just the soil beneath my feet.

All the soil, apparently. 

• The soil in my African violet pots that is looking the worse for wear.
• The soil I’m mixing up in my basement to use for soil blocks for starting seeds.
• And, of course, the soil with which I will be filling my raised beds soon.  

Whether you’re growing directly in the ground, in raised beds or simply in pots around your home, soil health is the key to getting great results above ground.
