It’s What’s up Wednesday, my friends!

And as you can tell by the lateness of this email, I forgot what day of the week it is. When the boys are out of school, my entire schedule is thrown out of whack.

There’s no sense of structure. While I’m not one of those parents who can hardly wait for the school year to start again, it will return a sense of balance to my days. 

Anywho. 

The scorching temperatures continue here in Central Pennsylvania. But thankfully, there is a cluster of thunderstorms headed my way today, and the garden will get a much-needed watering.

I walked into a store on Monday, and what had been summer displays and merchandise only two days earlier had all been replaced with back-to-school supplies. Here I thought summer was finally getting into the swing of things, but no, according to retail, summer is over.

Today’s WuW is in defiance of the corporate mindset. No, thank you very much. Summer is not over. There is still quite a bit of it to enjoy. And most of it is quite tasty, too.
