I’m taking down my Christmas tree today. Normally, I keep my Christmas decorations up well into January. But as I’m moving, everything is getting packed up early this year. That means I’m tending to post-holiday chores while I’m at it.  

I decided to do a quick write-up sharing the dos and don’ts of what your Christmas cactus needs once it has finished flowering for the season. 

(There’s one thing almost everyone does but shouldn’t.)

If your Christmas cactus has finished flowering or is nearly finished, you’ll want to give this a quick read. It applies to both true Christmas cactuses and Thanksgiving cactuses.
