Hi there, Rural Sprout Readers,

I know, just what everyone wants to see when they open their email.

"You're wrong."

I was wrong, too. For years, I’ve been blaming my squash problems on squash bugs.

But I can almost guarantee there’s something else slowly killing your plants that you can’t see.

Squash vine borers. They do the dirty work and the squash bugs take the rap. I spent the week contacting some of the most knowledgeable connections in my gardening network. They didn't fail me! This will be your last bad squash harvest and mine as well.
