Greetings, Rural Sprout Readers,

I have a confession to make.

I haven’t set foot in my garden in ten days.

Yup, we’ve been so busy with a project for an organization we volunteer with that I barely remember what the garden looks like. The chickens probably think we’ve forgotten them.

We’re under a deadline, so Andy and I have been subsisting on takeout pizza and getting to bed late.

And now I have a sick kiddo on my hands as well. So, I hope you won’t begrudge me a short newsletter this Sunday and a nap. I’ll sweeten the deal. You can take a nap, too.
