I may have started something yesterday with my claim that you can plant peppers in much the same way you plant tomatoes - deeply. It’s a subject of much debate, but I did my best to set the record straight.

Gardeners are generally a pretty friendly lot. But some of the craziest arguments I’ve seen over the years have happened in the comments section of gardening websites.

There’s probably only one thing we love more than growing things, and that’s telling others how to grow things.
