For those of us who live in the United States, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving this coming Thursday. This holiday is usually marked by eating too much, watching football and falling into a turkey-induced coma in the afternoon.
I probably won’t join in on the football watching, it’s never been my thing, but I plan to enjoy a nice turkey dinner with family.
I mentioned a few Sundays ago about having a lot to be thankful for. It’s been a rough couple of years for all of us. But if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that finding gratitude for even the smallest things can change our entire world, even if it’s only the small portion that we inhabit.
I thought perhaps this Sunday morning, before the turkey and the noisy family and football, we could all take a few moments to practice gratitude. Here and now, before the big noisy holiday season gets going in earnest, what are you thankful for, dear reader?
