Happy Sunday, Rural Sprout Readers,Ā
Ā
Can you believe itās 2022? Iām still trying to figure out where 2020 went. I know I set it down here somewhereā¦
Ā
How was your week, my friend? It was my first week back from vacation, and I have to say I missed writing for all of you. The Rural Sprout team has been busy discussing the upcoming growing season, and weāre all getting excited. How about you?Ā
Ā
Ā
I donāt know about you, but the growing season has a way of sneaking up on me every year.Ā
Ā
The previous two years have been enough to cause anyone a little trepidation going into the new year.
Ā
A couple of months ago, I was scolded for not discussing current events in our newsletter. It was suggested that I was sticking my head in the sand and doing all of you a disservice by not shouting from the rooftops that the world is very quickly, ahem, going to seed.
Ā
Well, hereās the thing, dear readers. I respectfully disagree with this person.
Ā
There are quite literally millions of places on the internet where you can go to find out the state of the world. And most all of them are loud and quite happy to remind all of us how terrible everything is. (Even when it isnāt.) I think all of us have walked with our shoulders a little more stooped under the weight of all the bad news over the last two years.Ā
Ā
Of course, weāre not suggesting you ignore the issues that face us. But perhaps a gardening and natural living website might not be the best place to read up on these topics.
Ā
Instead, at Rural Sprout, weāre focused on helping you create a life that helps you shoulder those issues, maybe even lighten them a bit.Ā
Ā
And we hope you leave with a smile on your face.Ā
Ā
Because we think there's still good news to be had, you just have to know where to look for it. Hereās a hint ā itās usually not in those millions of places on the internet where you can go to find out the state of the world. Itās usually much closer to home, things like, "The tomato seeds sprouted!" and "My monstera has a new leaf!"Ā
Ā
Okay 2022, weāre ready to get growing. Weāve got this.

How To Save Paperwhite Bulbs to Bloom Again
